The Final Chapter is on it's Way

Hey folks! Mattie here from Demeru Makes Games to talk about where Satan is an Astronaut currently stands. I've been off on my ADHD-fueled game jam spree, helping create other games like Chiamour and Inamorata, but now I've set aside the time to finish this project, since the writing from Ryan is all finished. I'm really excited to get this project finished because boy howdy, is Chapter 3 a wild one!

Here's a break down of what is going to be added for Chapter 3 and the endings:

• Another 7K+ words and more branching of the story
• There will be another 9 endings added onto the 2 in Chapter 2
• New Background art, and a total of 20 new CGs, as well as more cut-ins spread across the game.
• Discovering more about Eddie, Lucky, Katarine, Cassie and even Virgil!

On top of all of this, I've added in some new features and content already and am planning on coding some more for the final version. These include:

• An Extras menu where you can see all the art and music you can unlock during your playthroughs.
• More CGs have already been added, 6 so far.
• A few fixes of some odd animations and such that pained me to see. 
• Some New UI for the Grand and the .
• Two new characters (or old ones but I gave them sprites)
• A new BG where there was none before.

I'm really looking forward to getting this game out there as a finished product and I hope you all will enjoy playing through it.

The Cost of Satan is an Astronaut Full Edition

With all this work that I'm putting into the final game and the extra work Ryan and Shane did as well (which I want them to see money from), I'm going to release the final as a separate purchase. I've not figured out the cost yet, but it will likely be under $10. I definitely don't want to make it inaccessible to those people who have played it for the game jam and want to finish the story, so that's why the cost will be kept low. The first two chapters from the Spooktober 2023 jam will remain up and free to play still.

A final thank you to everyone who has waited for any news on this, and a sincere apology for the long wait. Another big thank you to my team who've worked hard on this. It's been a rough few months, and I'm hoping to make it up to you with a fantastic polished full edition.
